Woman in blue

Hoy vengo con un jersey muy especial. Me encanta, por su color y su detalle del collar, me recuerda un poco a Cleopatra. Además es muy calentito y cómodo, ya que es un poco oversize. Lo combiné con unos pantalones negros y unas botas que tienen ya unos añitos, pero que me siguen pareciendo muy bonitas y cómodas. Que tengáis un buen día! Muchas gracias por seguirme. Muaaaaaa

New in cowboy boots

El lunes me llegaron estas preciosas botas camperas  a correos, aunque hasta ayer no las pude recoger. Desde que las vi me encantaron y no dudé en comprármelas.  Además, son comodísimas y creo que me las pondré mucho, ya estoy pensando diferentes looks con ellas. Próximamente os mostraré alguno. Que tengáis un buen fin de semana. Muaaaa

On Monday these beautiful cowboy boots arrived to the post office, but I couldn´t pick up them until yesterday. When I saw them, I didn´t hesitate to buy them. Moreover, they are very comfortable and I think that I will use them a lot. I am thinking a lot of outfits with them. I would show you a complete look with them soon. Have a nice weekend. muaaaa

rain, rain, rain

Estos días por el norte está lloviendo muchísimo y contra eso el mejor aliado son las Hunter. Este es el tercer o cuarto invierno que las tengo, y aunque están un poco estropeadas, me las sigo poniendo muchísimo. Así que iréis viendo bastantes looks con ellas. Los he combinado con unos pantalones encerados, sudadera y abrigo oversize. Estos abrigos, también conocidos como “homeless coat” son tendencia esta temporada. Creo que puedes combinarlos con looks casual como este o looks más chic, con vestido o falda y tacones.

These days it is raining a lot in the north and I think that the best thing to put on there are Hunter boots.  Although this year is the third or fourth winter with them, I use them a lot and you will see a lot of outfits with them. I have matched with polished trousers, jumper and oversize coat.  These coats are also known like “homeless coat”, and they are a trend this season. I think that you can match them with casual looks as mine or smarter looks, with a dress or skirt and high heels.

Aquí os enseño el look completo con el turbante, en el que le di todo el protagonismo. Lo combiné con una chamarra para la lluvia, jersey,  pantalones de cuero, botas moteras y unos guantes con pelito por dentro para combatir el frio polar que tenemos por el norte estos días. Los pantalones de cuero, aunque han sido tendencia otros años, este año también son un must y yo no dudo en ponérmelos.  Que tengáis un buen día. muaaaa 

Here I show you the complete look with the turban, in which I gave him all the prominence. I matched it with a jacket for the rain, jumper, leather pants, biker boots and leather gloves for the cold weather that we are having in those days in the North. The leather pants, although they have been a trend other years, this year also they are a must and I don´t hesitate to put on them. Have a nice day!!!!

Como ya sabéis, los turbantes están muy de moda y yo me he animado a hacer uno. Lo único que se necesita para este diy es, lana y agujas. Yo compre esta lana en la mercería de el corte inglés y la verdad es que había mucha variedad y a bastante buen precio.

Like you know, the turbans are very fashionable and I have encouraged doing one. Wool and needles are the only thing that you need. I bought the wool at “el corte inglés” and there is a lot of variety.

Elegí una lana gruesa y por eso utilicé agujas del número 6. El punto que utilicé fue, el llamado “punto bobo”.  La anchura, la hice a mi gusto, quería que fuese bastante ancha y la largura, midiendo la cabeza.

I chose thick wool and I used number 6 needles. The knit that I used was “knit stitch”. The width was that I wanted but you can do it narrower if you want. In my case I wanted to be like this.

Para el anclaje de la mitad utilice agujas del número 4, ya que cambié la forma del punto y utilicé el llamado “punto arroz”. Aquí solo tuve que hacer una pequeña tira.

Finalmente, cosí la parte de atrás de la banda ancha y en la mitad coloqué la tira finita, recogiendo la banda ancha y así dándole la forma.

About the middle piece, I changed the needles and the knit. I used number 4 needles and Knit was “seed stitch”.

Finally, I sewed the back of the band and I put the little one in the middle.

Faux fur and wedges

Chaleco de pelo súper calentito y taconazos, es lo que me puse para salir un rato un sábado por la noche. El chaleco de pelo es una prenda que me encanta desde hace tiempo y tengo alguno de temporadas pasadas pero, nada que ver con este. Lo combiné con pantalones negros y una camisola del año pasado. Taconazos, que son bastante cómodos por su cuña y para darle el toque, me puse un collar dorado que me trajo una amiga de sus vacaciones en Conil.

Ya tengo casi listo el diy de mañana, en el que ha participado mi amoma (abuela) también.

This is a look that I chose to go out on a Saturday night with my friends: faux fur waistcoat and wedges. I love the waistcoats and I have someone of other seasons, but this is special. I matched it with black trousers and a blouse of last year. The high heels are comfortable because of their wedge. And finally to put a touch of gold, I chose this necklace, a present.

Already I have the diy prepared for tomorrow in which my grandmother has taken part.

A touch of animal print

Y para empezar, un look sencillo que elegí para ir a clase. Creo que el sombrero y el “animal print” le dan el toque al look. El bolso y el cinturón son del año pasado, pero sigo utilizándolos muchísimo este año. En general los sombreros son un complemento que me encantan, y a menudo suelo llevar alguno. La camisa-parka q la llamo yo, es archiconocida ya por todas, una exitosa prenda más de Zara. Yo me la compré hace ya un tiempo, como en Julio o así, cuando trajeron la nueva colección, pero todavía está disponible. En cuanto a la blusa, un regalo de una muy buena amiga, me encanta y el detalle de la espalda la hace super especial. En la foto no se aprecia muy bien, pero tiene un trozito de la parte de atrás transparente.

This is a simple look that I chose to go to class. I think that the animal print and the hat are the essence of the look. The bag and the belt are from last year but this year I also use them a lot. In general I love hats, and I usually wear them. The shirt is well known, another successful garment of Zara. I bought it a time ago, in July, when the new season came, but now it is available in the shop. As for the blouse, it is a present of a very good friend, I am charmed with it and the detail of the back makes it very special.
